MILAN — Donald Wayne Roark Sr., 84 of Milan, died March 20, 2020 after a brief illness. He was born on June 19, 1935 to William and Cleo Kelly Roark in Huntingdon, Tenn. Don a retired Industrial Engineer for Foamex Corporation in Milan and he was a member of the Chapel Hill Baptist Church. He had served in other churches during his life as deacon and song director. He was an avid fan of the University of Memphis Tigers.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Willie Roark. Don is survived by his wife, Virginia Roark of Milan, a daughter, Angela Watlington (Larry) of Sharon, a son Wayne Roark of Smyrna, TN, a brother Dr. Kelly Roark of Fort Walton Beach, FL, one sister Bonnie Webb (James) of Huntingdon, two grandchildren Rob Stewart of Deltona, FL and Taylor Roark of Smyrna, step grandchild Sheay McGehee of Sharon and three step great grandchildren Abbi, Haley and Grant McGehee all of Sharon.
Private family only services were Sunday, March 22, 2020 at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Centerville Cemetery near Milan. There will be no public visitation.
