Easy Pecan Sticky Buns


Pecan Sauce:

3/4 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup water

1/3 cup butter

2 tablespoons sugar

1/2 cup chopped pecans

1 teaspoon cinnamon


2 cup all purpose flour

1 tablespoon baking powder

3/4 teaspoon salt

1 cup evaporated milk

1/3 cup vegetable oil

To make pecan sauce, mix brown sugar, butter, water and pecans in small sauce pan. Boil gently for 10 minutes. Pour into 9 inch round cake pan and set aside. Mix cinnamon and sugar. Set Aside. To make the dough, mix flour, baking powder and salt. Add milk and oil. Blend well and form into a ball. On a lightly floured surface, roll dough into 12x10 rectangle. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar mixture and roll up,starting at longer side. Cut into 12 slices. Place slices on top of pecan mixture. Bake 20 to 25 minutes at 400 degrees.
