COURTESY OF MCKENZIE FIRE DEPARTMENT - Call log: 7/2/2023 - 23:03 hrs - Structure fire - 571 Hico Road - Responding units: Car 103, Engine 918, Tanker 924, Rescue 925. Also on scene: Carroll County Stations 1 (Huntingdon), 10 (Macedonia), 11 (McLemoresville), Ladder 1, and Carroll County Rescue Squad Unit 1. Structure on fire at the Hico Fire station, housing an engine and brush truck. The structure was fully involved on the arrival of fire units and was a total loss. The department was owned by the County of Carroll.
