Five McKenzie Rebels were named to the All-Region 7-2A Football Team announced last week. Kyle Maxwell, Witt Mitchum, Micah Austin, Chris Barnett and Logan Lyles were named All-Region. Witt Mitchum also was named Region 7-2A’s top lineman. Maxwell, Mitchum, and Austin are seniors while Lyles is a junior and Barnett is a sophomore.
Other members of the team included:
TRENTON: Cooper Baugus, Noah Halbrook, Jarel Dickson, Jacquez Wilkins, Rafe Hannah, Logan Whittemore and Eli Hammonds.
UNION CITY: Sam Theobald, Alex Rodriquez, Neil Brown, DJ Gray, Carson Corley, and Wes Tilghman.
ADAMSVILLE: Lathan Morris, Brodie Austin, Blake Buntyn, and Cody Infield.
GIBSON COUNTY: Jake Patterson, Adam Smithson, and Kaleb Johnson
HALLS: Ty Bucker and Joseph Meeks
