GLEASON (February 5) Gleason senior Elijah Young surpassed the 1000-point mark in his high school career. He was presented a commemorative game ball by Coach Riggs on Friday, February 5 for achieving the points achievement and for also achieving 1000 rebounds.
Elijah has averaged double-figure points and double-figure rebounds for the past three seasons. This year, with two regular seasons remaining, Elijah is averaging 21 points and 11 rebounds per game. In his last game, Elijah scored 40 points and had 18 rebounds.
