Huntingdon Band Hosts Marching Competition

HUNTINGDON — Huntingdon Marching Band is hosting its annual marching invitational at Paul Ward Stadium on the campus of Huntingdon High School.

The event includes two divisions with a total of six categories. The competition begins at 9:30 a.m. with Hollow Rock Bruceton Central being the first band to perform.

Halls High School performs at 9:42 a.m.; West Carroll at 9:54 a.m.; Jackson Christian at 10:06 a.m.

Southside High School performs at 10:18 a.m.; McEwen at 10:30 a.m.; Milan at 10:42 a.m.; Scotts Hill at 10:54 a.m.; and McKenzie at 11:06 a.m.

After a short break, Northside High School performs at 11:30 a.m.; Lexington at 11:42 a.m.; Chester County at 11:54 a.m.; and Station Camp at 12:06 p.m.

Following a lunch break from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., Dyer County performs at 1:30 p.m.; Peabody at 1:42 p.m.; Henry County at 1:54 p.m.; Union City at 2:06 p.m.; Clarksville at 2:18 p.m.; and Munford at 2:30 p.m.

Awards for Preliminary Competition are at 3 p.m.

Dinner break is 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.

The top bands in each division advance to the Finals Competition. Each of the top bands will again perform their field show.

The finals awards are at 8:20 p.m.
