Huntingdon Schools Install Three New Digital Signs
From the Jun 17, 2025 e-Edition
HUNTINGDON (June 7)—Huntingdon Special School District installed digital signs at each of the three schools to spotlight students, highlight upcoming events, and promote community engagement, one of HSSD’s four core values. Den Ray Signs of Jackson installed the signs. Electrical service at all three signs should be complete this week, and staff members will receive training on how to operate them. Staff members can change the message on the sign from any computer or cell phone with internet service.
Jonathan Kee, director of schools, said the high school sign is in memory of Judy Roark, teacher at HHS from 1988-2009. She was a beloved Spanish teacher and her family made a financial contribution toward the project.
“We are excited about them and think they will be something that attracts the attention of our community and those who visit our schools,” concluded Dr. Kee.
