James D. Henson

McKENZIE, Tenn - Funeral services for James D. Henson are Sunday, January 1, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. and Sunday 12 p.m. until service time. Interment is at Mt Olivet Cemetery. Pallbearers to serve are Justin Wilkes, Johnny Mercer, Marvin Kalinowski, Cody Lockhart, Stormey Crocker and Isaiah Waynick.

Mr. Henson, 31, died December 24, 2022 at Vanderbilt Medical Center. He was employed with the City of McKenzie Street Department. He was born in McKenzie on April 11, 1991 to James Dell Henson and Geneva Sue Tesneair.

He is survived by his father, James Dale (Debbie) Henson of Marmaduke, Arkansas, mother, Geneva Tesneair of Huntingdon, brothers, Cody Lockhart of McKenzie, Daniel Emerson of Paris and Toby Tesneair of McKenzie and a sister, Haley Price of Huntingdon, grandmother, Thelma Henson, uncle and aunt Wayne and Tammy Dedmon, uncle, Cecil Tesneair, aunt, Edna Murray, niece, Alivia Lockhart and cousins, Talia Dedmon and Tommy Dedmon.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Woodrow Wilson Tesneair, Shirley Louise Tesneair and James Dewey (JD) Henson.
