Mother's Day Weekend Wildflower & Native Plant Sale at the Woodlands Nature Station

Saturday, May 13 & Sunday, May 14 | 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Spring is here and it’s time to start planting those gardens! Wildflowers and other native plants make great additions to anyone’s garden – they attract butterflies and birds, often require less water and care than other plants, and look beautiful! Treat Mom to some new plants for her garden or pick out some for yourself!

Celebrate Heritage Breeds at the Homeplace 1850s Working Farm

We are cooking with cast iron today, come by the kitchen and see and smell what special 1850s farm food is cooking on the stove.  

Celebrate the New SkyExplorer at the Golden Pond Planetarium

Join the Friends of Land Between the Lakes as they celebrate the new SkyExplorer Projector. Visit booths, meet with Froggy 103.7, and check out free shows from 1 -4 p.m.

Laser Shows at the Golden Pond Planetarium

Visit the Golden Pond Planetarium as they kick off their annual Summer Laser Shows! Come out and watch as lights dance on the screen to some of your favorite tunes. Each show is $8 per person.

Hammer-In at the Homeplace 1850s Working Farm

Join us at the Homeplace as we host our annual blacksmithing Hammer-In Event. We will be joined by the Tennessee River Artist Blacksmith Association as we present various blacksmithing techniques. Learn How blacksmiths were able to forge metal before modern technology.

River Days at the Woodlands Nature Station

Cruise over to the Nature Station this Memorial Day Weekend for River Days! Enjoy live animals, activities, crafts, and programs all dedicated to celebrating our rivers and lakes! Get up close and personal with LBL’s lake and swamp creatures and discover what makes them so special! Celebrate the water all around us by bringing your whole family to have fun at the Nature Station!
