20 YEARS AGO — Area school systems examined security procedures following a school shooting at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado that left 15 dead.

*The McKenzie High School Marching Rebels were the Sweepstakes winner at the World’s Biggest Fish Fry Grand Parade.

*State Senator Roy Herron was the commencement speaker for Bethel College.
