Mc Kenzie, TNMcKENZIE, Tenn. - Funeral services for Marion L. Wells are Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, noon until service time. Interment is at Caledonia Cemetery-McKenzie. Bro. Bobby Jordan is the minister. Pallbears for the service are Marion “Champ” Wells, III, Timothy Russell, Bucky Russell, Evan Wallace, Michael Wallace and David Forrest.
Mr. Wells, 83, died December 14, 2022 at his residence. He is a retired ranch and cattle foreman and attended Solid Rock Ministries. He was born on August 2, 1939 in Stigler, Oklahoma to Whittley and Emma Pearl Hatter Wells.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Joyce Enyart Wells, four daughters, Melinda Fisher of Maricopa, Arizona, Sharon (Bobby) Russell of McKenzie, Crystal Wells of Greenfield and Hannah Wells of McKenzie, a son, Marion Wells, Jr. of McKenzie, 22 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two children, Patty Wells and Bucky Wells, a great-grandchild, and ten siblings, Mandy Wells, Pearl Bell, Gertrude Wallace, Jim Kinser, Shorty Kinser, Bill Kinser, Henry Kinser, Sam Kinser, Buster Wells and Norman Wells.
