McKenzie School Eliminates Mask Mandate

McKENZIE (May 4) — The news McKenzie students were eager to hear: you can now go without a face mask. Members of the McKenzie Special School District Board of Education voted unanimously to eliminate the mask mandate during its May 4 meeting. All year, most students, teachers and administrators were required to wear face masks to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Members of the Board and those seated in the audience removed their masks immediately upon the vote.
