Violation Order of Protection — McKenzie Police got an anonymous call on January 1 in reference to Danny Cobb Jr. of Greenfield being with Tasha Edge at a Stonewall Street residence. There is an active order of protection against Mr. Cobb for Miss Edge due to a domestic assault charge.
According to a report filed by Officer Cody Coleman, he and Sgt. Andy Weaver went to the residence to check on the situation. Cobb was found to be in the restroom of the residence and was placed under arrest.
He was originally charged with domestic assault and aggravated assault on November 16, 2019 and was also charged with two counts of violation of an order of protection on December 4, 2019 and one more count of violation of an order of protection on December 5, 2019.
He was charged with Violation of an Order of Protection and is being held without bond due to the previous violations of the order of protection.
Driving on Suspended/Revoked License —‑ On January 1, Officer Justin Brister observed a white F-150 traveling on Hwy 22 with no functioning tail lights or brake lights and initiated a traffic stop on the truck.
The driver, Spellings Wilson, advised he had just noticed the lights had gone out due to a blown fuse. A status check on Wilson’s license revealed his license was suspended. Wilson was cited for Driving on a Suspended/Revoked License-First Offense and given a verbal warning for the lights.
