MMS School Supply List 2023-24

McKENZIE (June 23) — To help parents prepare their students before returning to classes August 1, the McKenzie Middle School has released school supply lists for grades 5-8 for the 2023-24 school year.

Fifth grade students need earbuds, pencils, Highlighters, loose-leaf paper, glue sticks, scissors, colored pencils, a pencil pouch, three folders with brads, two composition notebooks, two spiral notebooks, one three-ring binder (two-inch), and a $10 science lab fee.

Sixth grade students need pencils, earbuds, coloring pencils, a pencil pouch, loose leaf construction paper, two one-subject spiral notebooks (one blue and one green), one composition notebook, one blue folder with prongs, one green folder with prongs, one yellow folder with prongs, one red folder with prongs, a $10 science lab fee, one pack of glue sticks, and one pack of Expo markers.

Seventh grade students need two two-inch binders or trapper-keepers, four to six packs of loose-leaf paper, one or two packs of pocket dividers, one composition notebook, two or three pronged pocket folders, one or two packs of pencils, a four-pack of Expo Chisel Tip black markers, three packs of tissues, hand sanitizer, earbuds, and a $10 science lab fee.

Eighth grade students need two three-inch ring binders, two packs of dividers for binders, one pack of loose-leaf paper, a one-subject spiral notebook, one pack of loose-leaf graph paper, three composition notebooks, pencils, a ruler/protractor, four glue sticks, one pack of Highlighters, one pack of Post-It notes, earbuds, and a $10 science lab fee.

Teaching staff at the McKenzie Middle School remind parents that supplies are needed throughout the year and should be replaced as needed. Donations of hand sanitizer, Clorox Wipes, and tissues throughout the year are always appreciated.

School returns with a half day August 1.
