Newest Habitat House Dedication is August 6

Posted

Habitat for Humanity of Carroll County invites everyone to the dedication of the twenty-second house built by the local organization.

The ceremony is Sunday, August 6, 2 p.m. at 832 Magnolia Avenue in McKenzie.

The home was built for Ms. Weatherford and her children — Zhayvareion, Jamair, Nazier, Jacaden and Malaya.

After a two-year absence, this is the first home built since the worldwide pandemic. During the dedication ceremony, Ms. Weatherford and her children will receive the keys to their new home.

This home was built in honor of McKenzie native Dr. Jerry F. Atkins for his many years of service to the community and to Habitat.
