Mc Kenzie, TNHUNTINGDON - Reverend George Hill, 87, of Huntingdon, Tennessee died Thursday, January 25, 2024 at his home.
Funeral services are at 3 p.m. Monday, January 29, 2024, at Huntingdon First Baptist Church. Interment will be at Hopper Cemetery in Lewisburg, Tennessee, on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at 11:30 a.m. Brother Frank Thomas Webb, Brother Gary Swafford and Brother Ray Jones officiating.
The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Sunday, 4:30 until 8 p.m. and on Monday at Huntingdon First Baptist Church from 2 p.m. until time of services at 3 p.m.
Mr. Hill was born March 17, 1936 to the late Bob Taylor Hill and Stella Burrow Hill. He was a member of Huntingdon First Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Bettie Hill of Huntingdon, Tennessee; one daughter, Kimberly (Jesse Hickman) Bridges of San Angelo, Texas; one son, Kevin Hill of Huntingdon, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Adam Hickman and Austin Hill.
