Rorer Awarded Taylor Buckley Scholarship

Recent McKenzie High School graduate Nathan Rorer was awarded the Taylor Buckley Scholarship. The scholarship is a memorial to the McKenzie cheerleader who died in a car accident in October 2011. Rorer is the son of David Rorer and Keith and Kristy Chesser. He was a member of the Beta Club, HOSA, Leo Club, FTA, FCA and McKenzie Shooting Sports. He was the student council secretary, class treasurer, a National Beta Club Tennessee State Representative, a Distinguished Scholar, an honor graduate and a member of the Top Ten. He will attend the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and major in Biomedical Engineering.
