WHITE HOUSE, Tenn. - William Vernon Lemmons, 86, of White House, Tenn. died Saturday, December 23, 2023 at White House Health Care & Rehab.
He was born April 10, 1937 in McKenzie, Tenn. to Klester Vernon and Willie Myrtle Patterson Lemmons.
He worked as an auto parts manager for several car dealerships before his retirement. He enjoyed walking on the greenway, taking photos of nature and spending time outdoors. He tried his crafting skills with painting, glasswork, and woodworking. He was a member of White House First United Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Mary Deck, Louise Kapps and Dortha Goodell.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Carolyn Lemmons of White House.; son, Michael (Leah) Lemmons of Springfield, Tenn.; two grandchildren, Taylor Lemmons and Aiden Lemmons.
The funeral service is Thursday, January 4, 2024 at 1 p.m. at White House First United Methodist Church with Pastor Paul Edwards officiating. Interment will follow at 3 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Goodlettsville, Tenn.. Visitation is Thursday, January 4, 2024 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.
