The Huntingdon Fillies punched their ticket to Murfreesboro to play in the State Tournament Class AA quarterfinals with two late-game victorious rallies. Wednesday night the Fillies defeated Cheatham County 67-60 for the Region 6-2AA title. After trailing the Lady Cubs for most of the game, Huntingdon pushed forward in the final minutes to win the region title. more
CAMDEN (February 27) — On Tuesday, the Huntingdon Mustangs lost to East Hickman in the region semifinals after leading 57-54 with 11 seconds remaining in regulation time. more
HOUSTON COUNTY (February 26, 27) — McKenzie basketball traveled to Houston County in the regional tournament last week looking to extend to their basketball season. The Lady Rebels faced off against the Wayne County Lady Wildcats while the Rebels battled the Frank Hughes Lions. Both McKenzie teams were unsuccessful in pulling off the wins as their season drew to a close. more

BROOKINGS, S.D. — The Bethel University Men's Track team ended one of the best indoor track performances in Bethel history. The Distance-Medley relay who won the Mid-South Conference Championship, ended up 22nd in the nation. All-American Joseph Skoog continued his historic run after finishing runner-up in the 3000m and then bouncing back in the 5000m to finish third. Skoog was coming off a Mid-South Conference Championship. The ceiling is high for Bethel's Track team as they now prepare to be ready for outdoor competition. more

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — The No. 6 seeded Bethel Wildcats fell to the No. 3 seeded Georgetown Tigers 80-70 Saturday night in the quarterfinals of the Mid-South Conference Men’s Basketball Tournament in Bowling Green. The Wildcats trailed by 16 at the half but battled back and gave the Tigers all they wanted and more in the second half. more
