McKenzie City Council Meets Monthly The McKenzie City Council meets at 6 p.m. the second Thursday of each month. more
McKenzie Memorial Day Program The speaker is Reverend Garrett Burns, a reserve chaplain with the U.S. Navy. Traditionally, veterans place a wreath at the War Memorial in Veterans Park, downtown McKenzie. Placing the wreath is Dana Deem, retired Air Force representing the American Legion and Steve Davis, VFW Post 4939 commander, U.S. Army retired. more

JACKSON — Borne from the disruption of the COVID-19 pandemic, The Jackson Symphony’s Symphony on the Move tour is launching its fifth season this month and has two performances scheduled in Carroll County—Friday, June 7 at Veterans Park in McKenzie and Thursday, June 12 on Court Square in Huntingdon. more

McKenzie to Host Homelessness Forum McKenzie is Hosting a Homelessness Forum on Monday, May 13, 6 p.m. in the Park Theatre. The event is to raise awareness of the homeless situation and the resources available to assist these individuals. The panelist: Hometown Health Clinic, Carey Counseling Center, Inc., Tennessee Homeless Solutions, Beating Hearts Help Center, West Tennessee Continuum of Care, United Neighbors, and others.
