The members of the McKenzie Garden Club met at the McKenzie Church of Christ for their July meeting on Friday, July 26. Twenty members answered the roll call, and the devotional was given by Donna Ward. She chose “Embracing our Spiritual Summer” as her topic and chose John 15:5 as her reference.

McKENZIE — Carlton Townes, a junior at McKenzie High School, spoke to the members of the McKenzie Rotary Club on Tuesday, July 30. Townes and Gracie Aird attended the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards during the summer. The week-long event occurred at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville.

McKENZIE (July 25) —With the school year starting today, paving crews finished paving projects at McKenzie Middle School and McKenzie High School just one day ahead of students arriving. New culverts and sidewalks were also installed at MMS. One new sidewalk was installed at MHS.
