As president, Alivia’s mission statement includes, “My vision is to create a strong sense of community and unity within our cohort, speak for the class as a whole, while following the guidelines as stated in the PSGA constitution, as well as encouraging and comforting my peers on harder days.” more

Six past members of McKenzie High School football homecoming royalties from 1948-64 were presented during the 2023 MHS Homecoming parade. The ladies enjoyed a gathering prior to the parade hosted by the McKenzie High School Alumni Association (MHSAA) and McKenzie City Florist and More, which included refreshments and time for reminiscing about their days at McKenzie High. more

Susan Dyer, a teacher at McKenzie High School in Carroll County, took part in the “Humanity of Leadership” program on Sept. 27 as part of the WestStar Leadership Program’s WestTeach Program. Participants in the WestTeach Program are K-12 teachers who are nominated by their principal who aspire to remain in the classroom but want to be a leader in their school and community. more
