I remember the first family gathering after my father died. The dining table my mother had received as a gift when I was in high school was stretched out and extra leaves were inserted. Six matching chairs plus several folding chairs lined both sides. At the foot of the table sat mama’s chair and at the head sat daddy’s. more
Don’t ya’ll think this election thing has done got out of hand! There are people running for president that I’ve never heard of. And, after listening to some “back and forth” amongst this gang, I realize why we’ve never heard of them! It is rhetoric on top of rhetoric, mostly pointing out what the other fellow DOESN’T have to offer. GLEASON — Gleason celebrated its 51st Tater Town Special during the final week of August, always culminating the weekend of Labor Day.
