Barry Dean Jones

McKENZIE, Tenn.  - Services for Barry Dean Jones, 75, are Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home with Brother Kenny Carr, Brother Craig Hobson, and Brother Fred Morris officiating.  Interment will follow at Everetts Chapel Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 from 11 a.m. until service time.  Mr. Jones, a retired automobile mechanic and owner of Crestview Motors in Gleason, died Saturday, April 23, 2022 at his residence.  He was born on March 6, 1947 in Martin, Tennessee to J.T. and Novella Deck Jones. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran serving during the Vietnam War period.  He was preceded in death by his parents. 

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Aletha Wray Jones of McKenzie, his daughter, Allison (Nickey) Bowers, a son, Tommy Jones, all of Gleason, his brother, Terry (Jeanette) Jones of McKenzie, his grandsons, Trey Bowers, Caleb Jones, and Barrett Bowers.  Pallbearers who will be serving are Caleb Jones, Trey Bowers, Barrett Bowers, Jeremy Voigtmann, Michael Earney, Patrick Warman, and Josh White.

As a personal request of Barry, no neckties are to be worn at his service!!
