Betty Brummitt Brown

McKENZIE, Tenn. — Funeral services for Betty Brummitt Brown are Friday, April 29, 2022 at 11 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church McKenzie.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 28, 2022, 5 to 8 p.m. and Friday, 10 a.m. until service time at the church. Interment is at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Reverend Trisha Trull and Brother Dennis Trull are the officiants.

Ms. Brown, 72, died at her residence Sunday, April 24, 2022. She was a secretary for Brummitt Funeral Home, Inc. and an operator for McKenzie Medical Center. She was a member of McKenzie First United Methodist Church and a member of the Morning Glory Garden Club. She was born on July 26, 1949 in Memphis to H. B. (Jack) and Mary Elizabeth Brummitt.
She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer (Jason) Pinson of McKenzie, Lisa (Mack Doster) Highfil of Paducah, Kentucky, a brother, Hays Brummitt of McKenzie, and two grandchildren, Jacob and Jacey Pinson.
She is preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Bobby Brummitt and a grandson, Jack Pinson.
