Trezevant — Minister Brenda Faye (Phillips) Ellison, 70, died January 23, 2020 at her residence in Stockbridge, GA.
The memorial service for Minister Ellison is Friday, January 31, 2020 at 12 p.m. at Mt. Ararat Missionary Baptist Church in Trezevant, Tenn. The family will receive friends at the church Friday at 11 a.m. until service time. A Family Visitation will also be held on Thursday, January 30, 2020 from 5-7 p.m. at Mercer Brothers Funeral Home in Jackson, Tenn.
Mrs. Ellison was born in Trezevant to R.L. and Pearl Phillips. She is survived by her four children, sons Lorenzo and Damien Phillips, both of Louisville, KY, Tiffini Phillips of Michigan, and Kristi Phillips of Atlanta, GA. She also survived by four grandchildren which she adored and four siblings.
She is preceded in death by her parents, a grandson (Noah Phillips), two brothers (Arthur and Raymond Phillips), and a sister (Francis Phillips-Williams).
Mercer Brother Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
