Mc Kenzie, TNHUNTINGDON — Mr. Dean Heath, 77, of Huntingdon, Tennessee died Thursday, December 12, 2019 at his home.
Funeral services were Tuesday, December 17, 2019 in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home. Interment was in Carroll Memorial Gardens. He died 15 days after his mother, Peggy.
Mr. Heath was born May 8, 1942 in Whidbey Island, Washington to the late Leonard Dale Heath and Peggy Sterkel Heath. He was preceded in death by his sister, Joan Miles and his son, Leonard Dean Heath, Jr.
A veteran of the Vietnam era, Dean served 24-1/2 years of honorable active service.
He is survived by his loving wife, Betty Jane Heath of Huntingdon, Tennessee, three daughters, Diana (Steve) Pitzen of Sun City, Arizona, Peggy (Jeff) Carter of Huntingdon, Tennessee, LeDeana (Jason) Britz of Meridian, Idaho; one son Leonard Dale (Angela) Heath of Scottsdale, Arizona; and several grandchildren.
