Mc Kenzie, TNPALMERSVILLE — Floyd “Cowboy” McAlister, 84, of Cookeville, formerly of Palmersville, died Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at Life Care Center of Sparta, Tenn. Funeral services were Sunday, January 12 in Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel with burial n Thompson Cemetery.
Floyd “Cowboy” McAlister was born December 19, 1935 to the late John William McAlister and Lovie Lawrence McAlister in Water Valley, Kentucky.
He is survived by his wife, Verna Thompson McAlister, his two sons, John (Tricia) McAlister, and Kirk (Laura) McAlister, both of Cookeville, Tenn., his daughter, Cindy (Terry) Duncan of Bellevue, Tenn., his sister, Ambra Armstrong of Fulton, Ken., 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Bowlin Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
