Mr. Franklin Rushing 72, died Monday, October 11, 2021 and his wife, Mrs. Deborah Jean Rushing, 69, both of Jackson, Tennessee, died Saturday, October 9, 2021, both at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
Joint funeral services were conducted on Thursday, October 14, 2021 in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Elder Tommy McDonald officiating. Interment followed in the Union Academy Cemetery in McKenzie.
Mr. Rushing was born June 10, 1949 in Huntingdon, Tennessee, to the late Luther Cecil and Floy Lucinda (Laws) Rushing. Other than his parents he was also preceded in death by wife of 34 years, Debra Jean Cannon, two brothers, Laws Rushing, George Rushing and one sister, Eloise Ross.
Mrs. Rushing was born March 18, 1952 in Milan, Tennessee, to the late Eugene and Bonnie Sue (Byars) Cannon. Other than her parents she was also preceded in death by their four-legged fur baby, Taffy Rushing, and one brother, Dennis Cannon.
