J.D. Creasy

J.D. Creasy, age 92, died Thursday, June 18, 2020 at his residence. 

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 19, 2020 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and Sunday 12:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Funeral Service is 2:00 p.m. Sunday June 21, 2020.  Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Mr. Creasy was born in Bath Springs, Tenn. on February 12, 1928 to Albert Logan and Giffie Burcham Creasy. He is a member of Union Grove Baptist Church and a Baptist music minister and deacon.

He is survived by his wife of nearly sixty-six years, Elizabeth Floyd Creasy of McKenzie, two daughters, Regina Creasy Green and husband, Ray of McKenzie, LaDona Johnson and husband, (Charles) of Gleason, two sons, James Creasy and wife, Karen of Gleason and John Creasy and wife,  Jackie of Eva, one sister, Jocie Warren and husband, Buddy of Linden, three brothers, Harvey Creasy and his wife, Peggy of McKenzie, Albert Creasy and his wife, Lene of Hot Springs, Ark.  and Joel Creasy of Mt. Juliet, eight grandchildren Jason (Heather) Creasy, Logan (Melody) Creasy, Jennifer Bishop, Crystal Dawn Green, Sara Rae Green Featherston and husband,David, Maranda Green, Mary Beth Dickinson and Joe David Johnson, twenty great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Edith Creasy Garner and brother, Donny Creasy.
