McKENZIE, Tenn. - Services for Joe Phillip Ridley, 85, are Thursday, July 16, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home with Reverend Tony Janner officiating.  Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery with US Army Military Honors.  

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 15, 2020, 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Thursday, July 16, 2020.  11 a.m. until service time. 

 Mr. Ridley, a retired supervisor at Norandal USA in Huntingdon and a former milkman for Liles Dairy in Huntingdon, died Monday, July 13, 2020 at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Carroll County in Huntingdon.  

He was born on September 18, 1934 in McKenzie, Tenn. to Otto and Ila Mann Ridley. He was a member of Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church for over 50 years and also served as an elder, he was a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran, a member of the Masons, and a former member of the McKenzie Rotary Club.  

He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Mary Lou Ridley, who died October 13, 2018, a sister, Ruth Carr, two brothers, Duane Ridley and Bobby Ridley. 

Survivors include his wife, Mary Melton Ridley of Paris, Tenn., his daughter, Jeanine (Tony) Jones of McKenzie, two sons, Mark (Karin) Ridley of Chicago, Ill., Michael Joe ( Brianna) Ridley of Nashville, Tenn., a sister, Joyce (Bill) Driskell of Athens, Ala.,  11 grandchildren, Chrishanda Ridley, Lindsey Jones, Parker Jones, Camile Ridley, Gwyneth Ridley, Kase Ridley, Claudia Ridley, Margot Ridley, Jude Ridley, Julian Ridley, Mark Ridley, II,  Eight great-grandchildren, Fletcher Holt, Ridley Holt, Bryson Jones, Keaton Jones, Carver Holt, Carisha Ridley, Ashton Ridley, Jake Jones, and Mary Mae Holt.
