McKENZIE, Tenn. -  Funeral services for Lonnie G. Jones are Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home. Interment is at Mt. Olivet Cemetery and the officiant is Brother Ronnie McClure.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at  5 to 8 p.m. and on Wednesday,  11 a.m. until service time.

Mr. Jones, 93, is a retired city carrier for the U.S. Post Office in McKenzie, a member of Union Grove Baptist Church and a Korean War Army veteran. He was born in Milan on November 8, 1928 to Edward R. Jones and Maggie Lomax Jones Traywick.

He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Faye Campbell Jones, two children, Emily (David) Webb and Tony (Jeanene) Jones, all of McKenzie, three grandchildren, Gina (Joey) Brush, Lindsey (Matthew) Holt and Parker (Toni) Jones, and nine great-grandchildren, Will Brush, Macie Brush, Fletcher Holt, Ridley Holt, Carver Holt, Mary Mae Hold, Brycen Jones, Keaton Jones and Jake Jones.
