McKENZIE, Tenn. - Funeral services for Pamela Collins Bohanek are Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 1 p.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Saturday, 11 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery.

Ms. Bohanek, 77, died Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at Jackson Madison Co. General Hospital. She was born on January 20, 1947 in McKenzie to the late James and Ruth Hudson Collins.

She is a McKenzie High School Class of 1965 graduate and a member of the Lady Rebels 1963 State finalist team. After graduation, she moved to Chicago and raised her family, only later to return closer to home, buying a lake house in Springville. In 2018, she decided it was time to move home.  Animals in tow and ready to once again become a dedicated McKenzie Rebels fan. When she could not attend the games, she would listen to them on the radio, watch NHFS, or stay up to date by posting on Facebook, “What is the score?”.

She is survived by her two sons, Frank (Carrie) Bohanek of McKenzie and James Bohanek of Hillsboro, Oregon, a brother, James (Sandra) Collins of McKenzie and three grandchildren, Ethan Bohanek, Baylie Bohanek and Jakob Bohanek.
