Mc Kenzie, TNMcKENZIE, Tenn. - Funeral services for Richard D. Pinson are Tuesday, April 22, 2022 at 1 p.m. at the Cedar Avenue Chapel of Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Monday, April 25, 2022 at 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. and Tuesday, 11 a.m. until service time. Interment for Richard Pinson is at Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery.
Mr. Pinson, 73, died Friday, April 22, 2022 at his residence. He retired from Republic Doors after 42 years in the maintenance department and he is a Vietnam Army veteran. He was born in McKenzie on September 29, 1948 to Quinn and Carolyn Smith Pinson.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy K. Pinson, two sons, Jason (Jennifer) Pinson and Eric (Wendy) Pinson all of McKenzie, his mother Carolyn Pinson of Trezevant, a sister, Patsy ( Jamie) Grooms of Nashville and a brother Jeff Pinson of Trezevant, four grandchildren Jacob Pinson, Jacey Pinson, Hannah Pinson and Cooper Pinson.
He is preceded in death by his father, Quinn, a sister, Kathy Bateman and a grandson Jack Pinson.
