Mc Kenzie, TNMcKENZIE, Tenn. - A memorial service for Mrs. Ruth Byron Metcalf is Sunday, October 9, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Sunday, 12 p.m. until service time. Interment is at Mt Olivet Cemetery, McKenzie.
Mrs. Metcalf, 92, died Saturday, October 1, 2022, at AHC of McKenzie. She was a member of McKenzie Church of Christ, a seamstress for local factories and daycare worker with Brenda Beadles Daycare. She was born February 3, 1930 in McKenzie to Thomas Clarence (TC) and Cora Bell Schrader Lankford.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert (Bob) Metcalf, sister, Doris Smith and brother, Merrill Lankford.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to McKenzie Church of Christ.
