Mc Kenzie, TNMcKENZIE, Tenn. - A memorial service for Truman L. Bateman is Sunday, November 5, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Sunday, 11 a.m. until service time. Interment of the cremains will follow at Trezevant Cemetery.
Mr. Bateman, 78, died Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at AHC of McKenzie. He was a member of McKenzie First United Methodist Church and a carpet installer/ flooring specialist. He was born in Milan on July 7, 1945 to Otis and Eva Mae Cloyd Bateman.
He is survived by his wife, Trudy Sullivan Bateman of McKenzie, one sister, Linda Faye Williams of McKenzie and several nieces and nephews with locals being Charles Garner, Julie Garner, Stacy (Sayward) Sullivan and great nieces, Lucy and Laela Sullivan.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Carolyn Diaz and Barbara Garner.
