Mc Kenzie, TNWeston, Florida - Funeral services for Vessie Lee Watkins were Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home. Interment was at Carroll Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Watkins, 90, died Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at Forsyth Medical Center, Winston Salem, North Carolina. She was born in Carroll County, Tenn. on December 28, 1933, to Lewis and Vadie Bradford Thomas.
She is survived by her son, Jerry Watkins (Sara) of Winston Salem, North Carolina, two stepsons, Gary Watkins (Susan) of Atlanta, Georgia and Ron Watkins (Kathy) of Greenville, South Carolina, a sister, Jane Moore of Martin and two step-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Wendell Lynn Watkins and brother Glynn Thomas.
Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home had charge.
