WACO, Texas — Michigan’s Jim Harbaugh and Northwestern’s (Iowa) Matt McCarty highlight today’s announcement of the American Football Coaches Association’s 2022 Regional Coach of the Year winners for FBS, FCS, Division II, Division III, and NAIA. These winners will be honored on Monday, January 9, during the 2023 AFCA Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina. more

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — The 2022 Cross Country National Championships were held Friday at the Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee, Florida. This makes it the forty-third year that the national championships have taken place. The top forty finishers are bestowed All-American Honors.  more
McKENZIE (November 12) — The No. 4 Bethel University Wildcats became the first Bethel team in modern day program history to win 11 games in a season and be undefeated at that mark. The 2018 squad was 10-0 during the regular season. Bethel’s longest winning streaks prior to this year had been 10 in a row in 2007 and 2018.  more
McKENZIE — The No. 4 Bethel Wildcats scored 28 points in the first quarter and coasted to a 59-6 victory over the visiting Faulkner Eagles Saturday afternoon. It was Senior Day for 19 Wildcats who were honored in pregame ceremonies. It was also Military/First Responders Appreciation Day. With the win, Bethel clinched the Mid-South Conference title.  more

McKENZIE — Senior Director of Athletics, Brad Chappell announced Friday at the Annual Jerry Wilcoxson Memorial Golf Tournament, Ricky Rosenjack is also being inducted into the Bethel Athletic Hall of Fame as a contributor. Rosenjack joins Alicia James and Leah Hensley Cripps in the class of 2022.  more
McKENZIE  — The No. 6 Bethel Wildcat defense dominated the visiting Thomas More Saints Saturday in front of a huge crowd on Homecoming at Wildcat Stadium. The Cat offense also did their part scoring in every quarter in the 57-7 victory.  more

McKENZIE – The Bethel Wildcat baseball program signed local standout Hayden Hixson Thursday. Hayden is the son of Eddie and Monica Hixson of McKenzie and will major in Education.  more
