NASHVILLE — The Tennessee Department of Education released the 2021-22 Tennessee Comprehensive Assessment Program (TCAP) district-level reports July 6. The results include Fall 2021 end-of-course exams (EOCs) and Spring 2022 exams in English language arts (ELA), mathematics, science and social studies.

McKENZIE (April 4) — Lynn Watkins, director of McKenzie Special School District, is retiring on June 30. During the April 4 meeting of the Board of Education, Watkins offered to serve as a consultant to the yet-to-be-selected director of schools, whose term of office begins July 1.

ATWOOD (March 7) — West Carroll Special School District launched a new phone app and upgraded its website to better serve the stakeholder of the school system.
Michelle Robinson, who headed the project, displayed the newly available phone app, that will provide a central point of communications for teachers, students and parents. Robinson said the app and upgraded website will consolidate communications for the school system.
