HUNTINGDON (May 30) — The Carroll County Complex is undergoing much needed renovations. Through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Funds, the Carroll County Commission pledged $500,000 for maintenance, repair and improvements. more
HUNTINGDON (May 30) — The Carroll County Budget Committee met to discuss upcoming financial issues before the end of the fiscal year. Members were updated on the payoff amount for a loan by the Highway Department. That amount is set at $206,688.82, the Committee already allocated $209,000 in the upcoming fiscal year budget. This amounts to a savings of $25 a day for Carroll County. more
HUNTINGDON (May 28) — The Town Council of Huntingdon met Tuesday to go over numerous items on the agenda. First and foremost the approval of Ordinance 628 to adopt and approve the General Fund, Drug Fund, Solid Waste Collection fund, DCPA Special Projects Fund, and Utility Fund Budgets of the Town of Huntingdon, Tennessee, for Fiscal Year 2024-2025. more

MARTIN — A three-percent in-state undergraduate tuition increase for UT Martin students was recommended for the 2024-25 academic year by the university’s advisory board Friday, May 17, during the board’s summer meeting in the Boling University Center. more
