Mueller was sworn in at the beginning of the board's regular monthly meeting Thursday by Chris Hayden, attorney for the district. McKENZIE (January 6) — McKenzie High School hosted West Carroll Tuesday for a pair of basketball contests and earned a sweep. A strong second quarter carried the Lady Rebels to a 50-31 win, while the Rebels pulled away in the third frame for a 78-34 victory.

The Lady Rebels carried an early advantage into the third, where the Warriorettes took the momentum and the lead. McKenzie rallied in the fourth to claim a narrow, 56-54 victory. The Warriors pulled away early for a 78-44 win.
