Multiple Charges — A domestic incident on Saturday evening, October 22, resulted in the arrest of two women. McKenzie Police received a 911 call regarding a stabbing at an Elm Street residence. Sgt. Kyle Beauchamp made contact with the victim Athena Stafford. Stafford stated she had been stabbed the night before (10/21) but was afraid to call 911. She was transported to Baptist Hospital by ambulance to treat her injuries. more

Driving While Cancelled, Suspended, or Revoked — Officer Trenton Ruddy conducted a traffic stop on a black Mazda on Saturday afternoon, August 20 after observing Michael Gilbert, of McKenzie, driving the vehicle. Ruddy had prior knowledge that Gilbert, 39, had a currently suspended license. Dispatch informed Ruddy that Gilbert had four prior convictions for Driving on Suspended/Revoked License. He arrested and charged Gilbert with Driving on Suspended License 5th offense. more
Evading Arrest — On September 9th, Michael L. Wynnyk, 44, Jackson, was charged with a DUI and evading arrest. more

Vandalism — A McKenzie man was the victim of vandalism as he drove along Highland Drive near the intersection of Highland and Cedar Street. more

Speeding/Outstanding Warrant — McKenzie Police Officers Derek Gannon and Jeremiah Brooks observed a tan Yukon speed past them on Hwy 79 on Saturday afternoon, September 17. Gannon initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle, driven by Benjamin Trull, 31, of Atwood. A drivers license check indicated an active warrant out of Stewart County for drugs. Trull was arrested and transported to Carroll County Jail for booking and pick-up by Stewart County deputies. more
Multiple Charges — Tracia A. Pearson, 20, of Huntingdon was charged with a felony evading arrest and speeding on October 13. The vehicle was towed to Carroll County Motors due to it being inoperable and blocking lanes on the wrong side of the road. more
