Criminal Trespass — McKenzie Police Sgt. Trey Boucher located Maurice Lawrence, 29, of McKenzie at a local convenience store early Monday morning, July 25 with knowledge that he had been banned from the store. Lawrence was arrested and charged with Criminal Trespassing and transported to Carroll County Jail. more

PARIS — Henry County Medical Center (HCMC) welcomed eight new third-year medical students from Lincoln Memorial University’s DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine to campus on Friday, July 15. Theft, Drug Paraphernalia — Jamie Patrick O’Mahoney, 22, of Huntingdon was charged with two counts of theft of property and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia on June 25 in Huntingdon. more
Multiple Charges — McKenzie Officer Trenton Ruddy initiated a traffic stop on Cedar Avenue shortly after 3 a.m. on Sunday, October 2. According to Ruddy’s report, he had previously run the same vehicle’s tag earlier observing the window tint allegedly to be darker than legal limit. Ruddy also had dispatch check on the registered owner’s driver’s license status. It was learned that the registered owner was Demereo Harwell of Somerville, Tenn. and his license was revoked for a DUI conviction. more
