    McKENZIE — The 2023 middle school football season kicks off Saturday, August 5 with the McKenzie Middle School Football Jamboree at Randy Thomas Stadium. Beginning at 4 p.m., local middle school teams will compete using half of the football field, allowing for two games to play simultaneously. The games are broken into two 18-minute halves with hydration breaks.

  • McKenzie Valve Aids Local Schools with Supply Drive

    McKENZIE — This summer, McKenzie Valve & Machining established a goal to help the local community. The industry teamed with the McKenzie Chamber of Commerce to collect and distribute school supplies for schools across the county, with an initial plan to provide 20 backpacks full of supplies to six schools. By August, the industry received enough donations to exceed that goal and provide supplies to seven local school systems: McKenzie, Huntingdon, West Carroll, Bruceton, Clarksburg, Henry, Gleason and Dresden.
