BOSTON (April 15) — McKenzie’s Mark Smith participated in the 128th Boston Marathon and completed the 26.2-mile race in less than three hours with an average pace of 6:49 per mile. This is an incredible feat considering that the average marathon time for men is approximately 4 hours and 21 minutes, and for women is around 4 hours and 48 minutes.

Huntingdon Elks Lodge and Veterans Honor Guard of Parkers Crossroads are hosting the third annual golf outing on Saturday, May 4, 9 a.m. at Carroll Lake Golf Course. All golfers will receive a ticket for the Ricky Crider Fish Fry lunch at the Lodge after the event. Prizes awarded for longest drive, closest to pin and longest putt.
