The members of the McKenzie Garden Club met at the McKenzie Church of Christ for their July meeting on Friday, July 26. Twenty members answered the roll call, and the devotional was given by Donna Ward. She chose “Embracing our Spiritual Summer” as her topic and chose John 15:5 as her reference.

TENNESSEE (July 29) — Average gasoline prices in Tennessee decreased 7.7 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.02/g today, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 3,821 stations in Tennessee. Prices in Tennessee are 7.1 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 34.3 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has fallen 1.2 cents in the last week and stands at $3.78 per gallon.

The event was also a celebration of the group's 30th anniversary.
