Geneva Bledsoe Dies at Age 100

McKENZIE — Earlier this year, many celebrated the life and career of Geneva Bledsoe as she turned 100 on Tuesday, February 20. On Monday, the long-time teacher at Webb School and McKenzie Elementary, died. Funeral arrangements are not yet available. The Banner will publish it as soon as details are available.
Paving Completed at MHS, MMS

McKENZIE (July 25) —With the school year starting today, paving crews finished paving projects at McKenzie Middle School and McKenzie High School just one day ahead of students arriving. New culverts and sidewalks were also installed at MMS. One new sidewalk was installed at MHS.
Inclusion Park Opens Saturday

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 16, 2024, 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the funeral home and on Saturday, noon until service time. She will be laid to rest beside her husband of 33 years, L.C.
