Assault — Phillip Richar Colwell, 58, of 888 Republican Grove Road, Trezevant, and Philip Charles Colwell, 37, of Milan were both arrested for aggravated assault, and Aston Steele Salmon was cited for simple assault, all during a May 21 incident involving numerous people in Atwood. more

License Violation — Brittany Dawn Layhew, 37, of Huntingdon was cited for driving on a suspended license during a May 25 traffic stop in Huntingdon. more
Thefts at City Parks — A city maintenance building at McKenzie Park was broken into and the keys to a city truck were taken. No other items were taken on the report filed May 27 by Officer Kyle Beauchamp. On May 28, Officer Beauchamp returned to the park where the concession at the baseball field was broken into. A computer monitor, DVR hard drive and Samsung remote had been stolen from the upstairs press box. The DVR was part of the park’s surveillance system. more
Drug Possession — Marcus A. Holder, 50, of Reagan was charged with possession of schedule II (cocaine) and cited for speeding during a July 7 traffic stop in Huntingdon. more

Stolen Vehicle — A stolen vehicle was found stripped and abandoned July 22 on Moss Creek Road. more
Aggravated Assault — April Lynn Gocal, 37, Park Circle, McKenzie was charged with Aggravated Assault, Resisting Arrest, and Assault on July 16. more
Multiple Traffic Charges — McKenzie Police were contacted by a convenience store shortly after 10 p.m. Saturday, July 30, regarding a white vehicle parked near the side of the store for approximately an hour with headlights on. The caller requested an officer to come check the vehicle. more
Theft — Jeremy J. Joyce, 36 of Union City was charged with theft of merchandise under $1,000. more
Chrystal Gentry, 31, of Cedar Grove was charged with Possession of Schedule VI, Possession of Schedule II and Drug Paraphernalia on July 5. more
