CLARKSBURG (June 23, 2025) — During its Monday night meeting, Clarksburg’s Mayor and Aldermen approved the City’s 2025-26 Budget. The meeting was preceded by a public hearing prior to a second and final vote on the budget. Mayor Howell Wayne Todd said the new budget was essentially the same as the current year with a projected $10,000 increase in revenues and a projected $1,400 increase in expenditures.

A called meeting and public hearing are scheduled for Tuesday, June 24. At 5 p.m. is a public hearing for exceeding the certified tax rate. At 5:30 p.m. is a public hearing of the budget for the fiscal year of 2025-2026. At 6 p.m. is a special called meeting for the second reading of Ordinance 571, changing regulations governing food trucks.
